Frequently asked by parents
Does my child need any experience?
No. Every pathway starts with fundamentals, and activities are scaffolded for different reading levels and technical readiness.
Do we need a computer or paid apps at home?
No. Programs use school or community devices and free or approved tools. Some K–5 activities can even be printed or done unplugged.
Is my child’s information shared?
Programs use minimal student data and fictional examples. Students never enter personal information into AI tools, and our enquiry form only asks for your details and your child’s grade.
Will my child use AI chatbots?
Only school-approved tools, under supervision. Teacher demonstrations can replace student accounts. Students learn to verify AI output and to say how they used it.
Is the cybersecurity program about hacking?
It is defensive only. All labs run in sandboxed environments with fictional data — students never attack real systems or use real credentials.
Does my teen get a certification?
High-school students can prepare for industry credentials where they are eligible. We are honest about eligibility, cost and outcomes — credentials are tracked, never promised.
What does it cost?
It depends on the school or community partner running the cohort. Many cohorts are funded by schools, grants or sponsors. Send us a message and we will tell you what is available near you.
